£16.00

beautifully detailed piece of vintage British coastal memorabilia. This antique crested china miniature is realistically molded into the organic, spiral form of a whelk sea shell, proudly displaying the colorful, intricate heraldic coat of arms for the classic Essex holiday destination, Westcliff-on-Sea.

Expertly produced by Kneale & Bowler under their collectible trade line, Arcosy China, in Stoke-on-Trent, England. The under base bears the crisp Arcosy diamond back stamp alongside unique, hand-painted factory decorator marks applied in iron-red script. In excellent vintage condition, free of any chips, cracks, or flea bites.

Seaside-themed shapes like shells that perfectly match their target coastal resort crest are highly satisfying to display and remain a firm favorite among collectors.
