A rare vintage Saint Francis Canticle of the Creatures Plaque includes several well known prayers from St. Francis in a wooden framed ceramic tile Wall Plaque - Made in Italy,

"Cantico Delle Creature - also known as "The Canticle of Brother Sun and Sister Moon" - is considered the first poem written in Italian. Its author is Francis of Assisi who wrote it in 1226. The poem is a praise to God, to life and nature, which is seen in all its beauty and complexity.

It weighs 471g. Its measurements are 17.7 cm height, 24 cm width and 1.2 cm depth. 

In overall good vintage condition. There is a very thin hardly noticeable hairline crack on the top left hand corner as seen in the image and reflected in the price. Collectable. Collector's item.
