Constantine","description":"\u003cp\u003eAdd a touch of mid-century British nostalgia to your gallery wall with this vintage framed \"Pencil Etch\" reproduction of London’s iconic Trafalgar Square. The piece features a highly detailed architectural sketch by British artist W.H. Constantine, beautifully capturing the grandeur of the square, the majestic Nelson's Column lions, and St Martin-in-the-Fields in the background. This particular series was mass-produced as high-quality, collectable souvenir art prints by the famous photographic and publishing house, Judges Ltd of Hastings, England, likely during the mid-20th century. The back retains its authentic, original publisher stamp reading \"Pencil Sketch Reproduction – Artist W.H. Constantine – Published by Judges Ltd. Hastings, England,\" alongside the signature Judges \"J\" inside a judge's wig logo. It weighs 355g, its measurements are 26.5 width, 19cm height, and 0.8cm depth. This is a true vintage item that wears its history beautifully. The print itself remains crisp and clear behind the glass. The original cream-colored wooden frame shows authentic signs of age-related wear, including minor scuffs, paint distressing, and weathering that entirely enhance its rustic, storied look. The backing paper on the reverse shows minor age-toning and peeling typical for an un-restored piece of this era. Please note: The original picture hanging wire has detached on one side and will need to be re-secured or replaced before hanging. Perfect for collectors of vintage Londoniana, architectural illustration enthusiasts, or anyone seeking a charming, one-off piece of authentic mid-century British decor.
